The Equal Opportunity Employment Journal is a bi-monthly recruitment magazine dedicated to creating equal opportunities through diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
When Verhein Marketing was hired to work with EOE Journal, it was uncertain what the magazine needed apart from a complete remodel of their website. We began rethinking and strategizing the best way to build the website in order to suit the needs of the readers and clients. The printed magazine had been the main source of allure for EOE Journal clients when they started in 1996, however, it’s hard to track metrics on printed materials today. EOE’s clients began requiring digital metrics. Once the website was live, we were able to track those metrics and report real results.
The website was not enough, there were so many channels left unexplored. We began with social media: Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. We created content with consistent tone and style and increased website traffic by 40% with an integrated social media strategy and website redesign.
